... there are so many reasons why I suddenly stop blogging and also there is so many reasons why I started back
My little darling is 16 months and time really flies...
Started people asking me when will I be expecting another baby, come on she is only 16mths OK ? Get a life you people ... maybe its the Malaysian culture, when you are married they expecte you to get pregnant / have a baby ... and when your 1st child is 12mths old they expect you to deliver another one... ha ha ha
Lucky I am not born in those dynasty that they only cherish MALE and also have many many childrens .. if not my mother in law will encourage my Hubby to have a concubine.. ha ha ha

So the question that always come into my mind is 1 enough or 2 or 3 is enough.
After my 2 cases of miscarriages, I believed and surrender that babies are Gifts from mighty god above. We cant even predict wat will happen in next minute and how to plan ahead on this miracle' ???

Gardening

... is started back my gardening hobbies. Worried i cant cope with the things', i bought 2 everlasting ( tahan lasak ) plants... thats money plants...

Sometimes i felt we have to find a balance of everything. Too much of office works recently made me really tired, especially when Pearly sleeps, i will join her...

She is so notty yesterday she woke up at 9pm and ding dong-ing till 10pm.No choice i put her beside me on the big bed and not even 5 min she snooze off... notty little girl.

She woke up at 5 am this morning, and her daddy have to be with her till 7am. No matter how tired her daddy is , when his girl woke him up, he will still smile at her ... I will try to wake him up this sunday and see what is his first reaction ..... hmmmm ... smiling or continue sleeping.... shall update....

.... Pearly is 4 months old ... she is growing fine and getting nottier' and nottier days by days ...

Hope this blog will also me her reference in future ... how her mummy expressed her loved for her little darling princess.

Recently bought the bumbo seat for her... and still she cant really sit properly..loved to slant to her right ... and dont wanna sit for long..

Mummy just complaint that every monday, this girl will loved to be carried and needed someone to be with her all the time ... indirectly complaining us cos we take care of her on sunday... hahahha

This morning the airconditioner broke down... so is a bit hot and stuffy, pearly was sweating and she dont wanna sleep ...... lucky i have my massage session today, thanks to my lovely hubby, for sponsoring the massage.

My back still pain especially my shoulder... was so stiff ... arggggghhhh ...

Sometimes looking back all the photos we took, i am so glad and thanks to Lisa Niu for the blessings to us. . Pearly is my GEM .

... Its been months I have stopped blogging ... can I put the blame to the " hormonal Changes" that been going through me for 39 weeks ??? :P

During the journey of my first pregnancy... there are times that I am down and there are times when I am happy... phew ......

The delivering process was not as planned, as we plan to go on normal delivery, but during the 7 months , doctor advice me to go on C-section due to the increasing baby's weight....

Finally I have delivered a baby girl weighing at 4.1kgs on July 2009...

30.3.2009 ~ My visit to Dr Voon as usual, few days earlier ... ha ha ha
Last week i went for the medical check up with sister because of my severe back pain ... I really cant stand the pain ... Dr gave me the Perskindol spray, and it really works wonders on my back pain...
Baby is doing normal and and as usual kicking and boxing a way... even at one time baby is saluting to us ... so cute and see god creations is really Great !
The bad news for this visit is my glucose level is up again and blood test needed to be done next April. Dr is worried on the gestational Diabetes which happens during pregnancy but usually go off after delivery..
If confirmed I am with this, they might worry the baby will be big and delivery need to be early or on the due date itself...
Hope the result is negative and I know God will bless me all the way...

No pain , No gain

Next week wl be another visit to Dr Voon, and as usual the whole family will be excited on the result, either boy or girl .. ha ha ha
This week my back pain did not improve but getting worst. How I really wished everyday when I woke up the pain will go away .. but too bad it is always there.
When ever I am sad with the pain, I will definitely go to FB and have a look at baby Jovie's video, it makes me motivated and happy to see a small little angel smiling and kicking happily to her mum. GOD is Great !
I realised, no pain no gain .... hahahaha; her video really motivates me... to be patience and endure the pain for this few months.
Sometimes I am wondering, why certain irresponsible mother can just abandoned their baby after birth, in the bin or anywhere ... where is their sense of motherhood and responsibilities ? Are they animals ? or they are worst than animals ?
Sometimes we have to felt contented with what was given, and made full appreciations on it.. no matter is a baby after a few years of waiting or even a small gift.. Life will be more simpler and happier .. Don't you think so ?

21.3.09 ~ This was my first night out with friends , during this 5mths period...

The BBQ party was fun at Aunty BraBra's house ... The food was good even a bit sour for the BeeHoon and Salad ... :P

The best food ever is the highly marinated chicken's wings by Yvonne ... wow with 2 flavours to choose from ... really a kick ..Thanks a million to her ....

Its been raining recently and luckily that night was clear, whole night BB was kicking and asking for more food, and basically I am eating whole evening... My god ...

Recalling back this 5 months ... there is ups and downs and definately not a good night sleep every night. I cant be bothered to make up to work , or even wash my hair at times.

26th Oct - Outings to Monkey Beach ( part 1 )

The Super Gow Chiak Gang finally plan to go outing which food is not the main purpose. We went to Muka Head Monkey Beach on 26th October and we departed at the Taman Negara Jetty at 9.35am.

This is the boat that took us to the Beach... We are all excited and happy and the weather was good ...

Thats the beach that Peter took the picture from the boat .. Really Nice and Yvonne actaully commented looks like NOT PEnang ... hahahahah

Me and Yvonne on the swing .. Wow very nice and luckily the swing did not break .. ahhahaha

Our Super Gow Chiak Chairman decided to walk / hike to the Light House... So there we go. The usual hike is 45mins but we took 1.2 hours to reach the peak ... ahhahahah

After having our wonderful lunch at Tasty Restaurant ( Please refer to Chiak-C-Hock.blogspot.com) we went to the Ti Kong Tua ( Ti Kong Temple) at Air Itam.

This is my second time there and Peter was first In order to reach the temple hall, we need to climb up some stairs, which we both nearly... fainted.. ( pengsan ) ha ha ha

Yesterday was my elder sister Adele ? Audrey ? ( Basically we dont event know her actual English name .... call her Poh Luan better ) 37th birthday .. hahahhaha 37th, 3 more years to .. the BIG 40 .. :P

Lunch at Shanghai 10

Last Wednesday we went to Shanghai 10, 4th floor (if not mistaken ) at Queensbay for our lunch.

Initially we planned to go to ' The House of Dumplings' but too bad the restaurant was closed on Wednesday, even on a Public Holiday :P

Since I just went to Dragon-I yesterday with my clients so we tried this instead.

The place is more like an open space, sharing the same area with the food court at the skating ring.

The food that we ordered was basically ok especially the Ramen that we both had. If not mistaken I ordered the Hot and Spicy Shanghai Ramen and Peter's was the Seeweed Ramen.

The Drinks is nearly the same with any Shanghainese / Hongkies restaurants such as Wong Kok and etc .... so nothing special..

We ordered the " Thang Pau " ... honestly Dragon-I was much better ...

There is this Thai food Restaurant by the name of Atawoo along Terrengganu Road.

Since yesterday I was at town doing sales and Yvonne is off , we met up there for our Eat All U Can Lunch. The buffet was only RM10.90 per head and with the quality and amount of food they served was a very good deal.

The Vegetable & Mushroom tomyam was good and the mango kerabu .. wow ... really really keng' ( ok why I said is Vege and Mushroom Tom Yam, because I dont see any meat .... )

There are a few good dish such as the Fried Kangkung and Fried Squids.

The next round we plan to go to Prontip at Peel Avenue.

Last Sunday after our Balik kampung trip on the way back home at green lane, as usual I saw a group of people actually standing behind the green fence staring at " something "
So out of my Kepo-ness I told Peter to made a U Turn and guessed what ? We saw this man made Lake' and there is a group of Fishing Enthusiast actually fishing.. Yes Fishing... This small lake is actually situated at Jalan Gambier. It is excatly beside the USM hostel.

Surprisingly there is abundant of fish at that lake, or I should consider that as pond..?? .. No idea.

The man was telling us this is Lee Hu ( Lee Fish ). 1Kg can reached around RM14 in the market. So it is consider a good type of fish . When I showed this picture to my colleague Hairul, he was telling me this is Ikan Haruan..No wonder so expensive !

If you are lucky you can get Tilapia too. This is another good fish .. The Man is so kind to let Peter hold the Fishing Rod.. So it looks like a Catch from him .. Ha ha ha ...

This is the same Tilapia before they released back to the Lake. Maybe too small or they are bored with this fish ! :P

This is the half view of the Lake. The weather was good so it is really a peaceful view.

Who knows here in Jalan Gambier we can find this place ? ... ?... ?

Last Sunday we went back Peter's kampung at Sungai Pinang Balik Pulau. Too bad we bought the camera after the durian season, if not we will be more happy to take +50 trees of durians and name it one by one in the blog... Lucky too if not Peter will cracked his head !

This is the Fern that we can get from the Nursery in Town but we can get it FOC in our Kampung. This is one of the Gigantic ones.....

This plant.. ehhmmm Peter was telling they used to cook the leaf and it tastes really good... Anyone wanna try ?

This is definately the Betik Tree..Papaya Tree... If mum saw she will definately nag why we did not bring some for her.

The Ang Koh Na Pniah basket.. . .. very colourful and cute .

This is the Hong Toh Mee.. Yvonne the Toh Heun that we tried last saturday taste way better. This was a bit watery and not much "leow". The noodles was not so special compared to the Toh Heun.

This shop is selling my favourite Char Siew Pau .. Everytime I went there I will definately order this ... without fail ! .. . ... . ..... .

Since today I am not going to the gym and Peter will be joining his friend to their badminton session , this will be a good time for me to clear my potted plants. Its been awhile since the last time I rearrange the Pots. My god now I have 23 potted plants... :)

12th September 2008, happenings for YewSuan

I was so excited yesterday, because 1st was Peter's birthday and 2nd he bought a Camera for me Sony T2 and after that we went to have our dinner at Korea Palace BBQ Restaurant, located 1st Floor of Wisma Bayu at Jalan Tanjung Tokong, excatly above Boon AV.

Too bad we cant use the phone to snap the food we had, because the battery was not charge. So we use my nokia classic 6120 instead..
They served a generous amount of side dishes and frankly speaking we felt the side dishes taste better than Ozizi which we had last time. The Kimchi was good and the " taugeh " , spinach, potoes , eggs .. wow Thumbs up and this is the first time we request for another round, but I think the waiter was a bit blur... as we requested for the "tau kua' refill he gave us potatoes , and few more but without the tau kua .. haiya ...

Guessed what is this ??? It is oink oink skin.... hahahah NO COMMENT !

This is the Seafood and Beef soup that Peter ordered.
The soup comes with the Korean Steam White Rice .. I believed the rice was steamed that is suppose to be ... ?? .. ??? The soup was really good, not so spicy.

I believed I dont have to tell Yvonne what I took, she will know whenever I am at Korean Restaurant I will definately ordered the Nakji Bokkeum with Noodles. Stir fried Octopus ... Wow this is one of the Best. Peter was comparing it with Seoul Garden and I have to agree that Seoul Garden was slightly better... :( ... But still this is better than the Ozizi ... :)

So we ended our evening .. having good food until we cant really walk straight.. . . . .. . . .. .... .. .

Dinner at Yataimura QB

Yesterday evening we went to QB and hunt for food ... after my half afternoon at GYM and Peter with his Badminton sessions... Finally we decided to go to Yataimura at the LG near the to Laksa Shack, opposite Kenny Rogers.

The Q was quite long, we waited like 15 minutes to be sitted ...

When we are finally inside the restaurant, the waiter was very polite and we ordered our some sushi, Udon and Rice..

The food was good and the price is reasonable for the quality of the food..

I loved the Salmon sushi very fresh and .. really good and definately will go again.

Sambil Selam, Minum AIR ...

Today we went to Mainland to meet my GM Miss Lee to collect Mooncakes for my customers ... So as the Malay proverbs..Sambil selam, minum air.. Me and Peter went to the AEON Complex at Bandar Perda. At the junction we saw the big building .. wow .. we are so surprised. The building is as Big as our QB at Island.

The diffrence is the CarPark.. So spacious, so no issues at all for us to park our car, shaded ...

I am so happy because I found Big Apple. I was so excited and and missed the Cinnamon Donut
* Rolling Stone * But too bad finished by the time we wanna order .. or earlier.. cos too packed . So we bought the Green Teaser , Whitnut and Almond with WhiteChoc... Imagine we Q for 1/2 hour for the Donuts... but really worth the Q , because the Donut is really really GOOD.... The first time taking this Donuts was at Gardens KL with Yvonne and her friends last year during my meeting and our Treassure Hunt trip' ( ha ha ha ) ......

Ok back to my last day of Chit month..Peter accompanied me back to my office to pray the Ho Hia Tee... After the prayers we headed back and we caught this right outside my office... Wow Rainbow... Its been sometime I did not see rainbow ... .... ....

Before gym this afternoon, me and my good friend Yvonne went to Padang Food Court for lunch

Yvonne suggested to snap some photos and publish in my Blog ... ( ahemmm ikut Keith la tu ..... )

Too bad the Pasembur stall closed or maybe we are too early.. !!! #### !!!! ?????

Both of us ordered Chai Koay .. I had the Ku Chai ones and Yvonne had the normal Chai Kueh...
Usually when it is about food .. both of us one dish is never enough.. So we ordered Char Koay Teow , Tomyam Bee Hoon , Sago Kueh, Lok Lok .... WOW right ?? Ha ha

During old days I remembered elderly people used to say .. Eat is Luck.. ( Chiak see Hock ) So why must us control when we feel like eating ... ha ha ha So whenever both of us hunt for food, we really EAT ... Every time is like EAT ALL U CAN ! ....

Since Pauline is not around ... So I ended my wonderful lunch with Coconut ICE drinks.... phewww.....

P/S Keith by the way the TEE Ya Kueh at that place, the uncle made the Kueh exactly like Jellies.. I think he used the Jelly Mould to made the Kueh .. So special, but we did not try cos I dint really like Tee ya Kueh @ Room Temperature .. :P

I always grumble to my friends about my two monsters nephew, Kenneth and Kevin. Especially Anna will always remind me, that I will miss the so called monsters after the grew older.. By then I will definitely missed their laughter's and their hoo haa.

Maybe in 10 years time Kenneth will be busying with his studies or maybe with his girlfriends.. yes girlfriends...

Kevin probably will be busy with his studies , games and maybe also with Michell or Ashley or ... since now at the age of 6 he is always the favourite boy among the girls in school... WOW

Still remember Kevin, he used to called Peter Gao-Gao instead of Ah Thiow ( Uncle in Hokkien ) Till today we dint know why he call Gao-Gao at that time. When ever I asked him he will always blushed ..pai-seh .. shame shame ... He is really adorable.

Kenneth, ha ha ha this boy .... when ever I am around.. he will sit beside me and pretend his leg is painful and ask for a massage.. asking for attention. He is another adorable nephew.

Ah Ee will always loved you both , Kenneth and Kevin... Muackss......

Last friday Mum bought another Pot of rose from the nursery. This time is a surprise for us because it is only the flower bud. Even the nursery owner is not sure on the colour of that particular pot that we chose. So it is more like a eenie mynee meene mo for Mum....

After 3 days .. finally its bloom and it is Yellow... Chinese believed Yellow is an Ong ( Luck ) colour...
May this Pot of Luck bring mum good wealth .. 4D all kena ...

My Vegetarian Breakfast

My Nutritionist Pauline Lai was preparing my " Food " List based on my blood group.

While she is doing it, I think today I should be safe with Vegetarian breakfast rather than having Nasi Lemak or Roti Canai..

This morning I bought the Fried Bee Hoon with Vege Mutton Curry. I know I should not take fried stuff, but I cannot tahan the fried cauliflower cooked with their special sauce and sprinkled with sesame... Wow that dish is really a Kick.

Today lunch I had one Sausage Bun and plain room tempreture water.. :(

Today diet will be very simple because tommorrow we ladies going for the vegetarian buffet at Pureland. So today NO CHOICE have to control a bit ... ha ha ha

Here I would like to take the golden opportunity to thanks my 2 best friend Yvonne and Pauline for supporting me on the Bikini TArget .... !!!!! ....

Target BIKINI ?

One of my friend was suggesting to me that I need to cut down some weight. I told him yes I am targetting to loose some weight by end of this year, but he was telling me my target should be BIKINI by end of this year.

Wondering can I go back to that size ?

Ten years ago when I initially joined KE , I remembered Adnan and the rest of the boys was telling me I am slim, that time my lunch was just 2 pcs of bread with sausages.. thats all ....I still remember the black short dress that I wore to work, and John finally sounded at me, saying the dress shrunk so not proper for me to wear to work ... that time the black dress was short and really look good with my nice leg, but still Micky always commented on my football leg .. wow ....

Ha ha .... I am really slim that time .. :)

How to reduce 20kgs in just 4 months ? For chinese, when a couple is married, and both gained weight, we will usually say that the husband or the wife take care of each other prefectly .. They are happy so they eat more... !!!

.... So initially they will put on some weight. . As in Feng shui point of view, when a person is "chubby" meaning the person is with much LUCK.. FOOK ...

So ... is looking fat / chubby really good ? Something to ponder about again ...

Keith as you can see from the photo, Pauline lost her " Chu Wen" ( First Kiss ) and Yvonne lost her "Chu Bao" ( First time being carried by a Man )... So you can imagine how " Gila" we are at the end of the Dinner ... WOW ... Unimaginable right .... ??? .....
But that was so FUN.. I Believed few of us Lost our Voice today ...
We scream , We shout, We Sing and We Dance ... ( only tangan clapping and waving la.. hahahha )

Bought mummy a pot of rose from K&N.

Initially I bought the champange colour which is very rare. Mum was complaining I did not get her a new pot for her lovely Rose. We went again to the nursery and bought another pot of Rose. This time we bought Red + Pink ..

Helped mum to transfered the plants to the new pot. ... She is so happy and very proud telling the neighbours about the rose...

Yesterday I was having lunch with office team, Anna and Mike joined in. We had lunch in one of the Nasi Kandar shop at Batu Muang.. Me and Anna commented that the curry No KICK compared to Mak Long at Bayan Lepas.

Recently Keith's blog mostly was on Food... I think i should try that too ( Jgn Merajuk ya Keith ?? )

Mak Long , my favourite dish there will be the Kerabu Taugeh.. WOW ... and also the Fried Chicken , Tau Kuah with Kacang Sauce, usually this 3 dishes with a cold drinks will cost me around RM4.80 - RM5.20 depending on the dish portions.

The shop usually will be very packed and the best time there will be around 1130 - 1230 . Variety of dishes u can choose from. .They also served ulam ulam .. which I have no idea how to take it and also Anna mentioned about the Fish Bakar.. sedap with the belacan sauce.

No photo taken so far.. will try to drop by this few days and post the photo again later...

The recent Bon Odori we bought the booklet from Josephine.

Worried it would rain and traffic jam, pass the ticket to Chin Lin my lovely neighbour as she is on duty that night. She help us to get some souvenirs from her stall.

Meet our new teddy, Claire.. They are a pair ... I put them near to mum and dad photo... very sweet right ?

Was talking to Pauline on the ACIM talk just now. She was telling she will attend the Chinese version of the talk and the next English is still undecided.

They came up with a list of seminars for this 2 nd half and what caught me was the The Art of Communications, which falls on Sunday, so Peter will be able to join in. Pauline highly recommend me the "Make Love with Ministry" .. WOW ... Let me ponder awhile...

Yesterday evening, because mummy was on vegetarian and she is rushing for the Zheng Zi class, we had dinner at Sushi King, E Gate.

Was so suprised that Kenneth actaully know how to eat sushi.. He had 3 plates of Salmon and Ebiko Sushi and a bento set... Kevin had one plate of Sushi and the Kodomo Bento...

Both was laughing at the Sweet Potato plate .... ( Wanna know .. go la to Sushi King )

The dinner was fun and relaxing .. as the restaurant was not so packed

This weekend will be a bit "challenging" .. why ? because tomorrow we have massage appointment... OH NO ! Its gonna hurt much more with my neck problem .

Yvonne my best friend, will be joining this time.. hope she will " enjoy" the massage... have to kaypoh with her tomorrow...

Now i am waitting for Peter to bring back lunch .. so hungry ....

Peter saw them at the temple and thought it is so sweet and decided to take some pictures of that moments.

Got to know from the Uncle that there some irresponsible owner that actaully dump their dogs at the temple.

Me as a dogs lovers was thinking... Dont they have feelings that their dog's is part of their family...

You will either like it .. or hate it ..For me i loved it .... very much. Thanks god for having a Hubby that owns a Durian Plantations in Pg.
This is one of the " pumpkin durian" in the farm ..
The shape is like Pumpkin so we called it as Pumpkin Durian .. Kim Kua in Hokkien ..
The Flesh is milky , sweet and Thumbs up ...
One piece of this durian can fetch RM20.00 in the market .. dependings on the size too ...

Bravo to Grandpa Lim ! .. without him no Father Lim, without Father Lim no Hubby Lim .. without them .. no la Durian .... ha ha ha

Friends another story to share ....

Once upon a time, there was a large mountainside, where an eagle’s nest rested. The eagle’s nest contained four large eagle eggs. One day an earthquake rocked the mountain causing one of the eggs to roll down the mountain, to a chicken farm, located in the valley below. The chickens knew that the must protect and care for the eagle’s egg, so an old hen volunteered to nurture and raise the large egg.

One day, the egg hatched and a beautiful eagle was born. Sadly, however, the eagle was raised to be a chicken. Soon, the eagle believed he was nothing more than a chicken. The eagle loved his home and family, but his spirit cried out for more. While playing a game on the farm one day, the eagle looked to the skies above and noticed a group of mighty eagles soaring in the skies. "Oh," the Eagle cried, "I wish I could soar like those birds."

The chickens roared with laughter, "You cannot soar with those birds. You are a chicken and chickens do not soar." The eagle continued staring, at his real family up above, dreaming that he could be with them. Each time the eagle would let his dreams be known, he was told it couldn’t be done.

That is what the eagle learned to believe. The eagle, after time, stopped dreaming and continued to live his life like a chicken. Finally, after a long life as a chicken, the eagle passed away.

The moral of the story: You become what you believe you are; so if you ever dream to become an eagle follow your dreams, not the words of a chicken.

The Cracked Pot ..

One of the stories is read from the net. Very meaningful ...

A water bearer had two large pots, each hung on the end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots was perfectly made and never leaked. The other pot had a crack in it and by the time the water bearer reached his master's house it had leaked much of it's water and was only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his master's house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you." "Why?" asked the bearer. "What are you ashamed of?" "I have been able, for these past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master's house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts," the pot said.

The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to the master's house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path."
Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some. But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again the pot apologized to the bearer for its failure.

The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you've watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master's table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house."

Each of us has our own unique flaws. We're all cracked pots. But if we will allow it, God will use our flaws to grace his table. In God's great economy, nothing goes to waste. Don't be afraid of your flaws. Acknowledge them, and you too can be the cause of beauty. Know that in our weakness we find our strength.
